From ClarionLedger’s Elizabeth Crisp:
State lawmakers will return to the Capitol at 10 a.m. Friday for a special session on incentives for at least one economic development project.
In announcing the session this morning, Gov. Haley Barbour said there is the potential for a second project to be considered but details have not been finalized.
He would not provide specifics about either on Monday.
“We will announce the projects Wednesday and share all the information with legislators and the public at that time,” Barbour said.
Lawmakers will be considering bonds for the projects, which Barbour described as “very, very attractive.”
The session is expected to last one day.
