DuPree Campaign Says No Thanks To “Luckett” Endorsement

I have learned that the DuPree campaign had an individual from Clarksdale named Luckett offer to endorse the Hattiesburg mayor, which would have given the DuPree camp a “Luckett from Clarksdale endorses DuPree” headline. They almost did it as a joke, but after seeing the heat that Luckett received they decided to pass. Better judgement certainly won out in this case.
