Tom King Receives “Legislator of the Year Award” from the Mississippi Municipal League
(Petal, Miss.)—State Senator Tom King has been given the “Legislator of the Year Award” from the Mississippi Municipal League (MML). The award was presented to Senator King at the recent MML Conference in Biloxi.
Senator King, Chairman of the Mississippi Senate’s Highways and Transportation Committee, is a Republican candidate for Transportation Commissioner in the Southern District.
“I appreciate this award from the Mississippi Municipal League,” Senator King said. “I have always appreciated the opportunity to work with mayors and other elected officials in a collaborative way, and I hope to continue doing that as the next Transportation Commissioner in the Southern District.”
