Redistricting: Politics out of control
Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant’s confounding behavior in the redistricting process is, well, confounding the redistricting process!
The latest wrinkle of the leader of the Senate calling Republicans to his office – excluding Democrats, except for one to explain matters to them – and then curtailing debate is just bizarre.
But Bryant’s behavior from the start in the redistricting process has been bizarre.
Let’s unravel this a bit.
