MS union bosses set up ‘solidarity’ presser today

Solidarity Rally set for today

The Mississippi State AFL-CIO will host a news conference at 2 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, to express solidarity with the public servants of Wisconsin who are being threatened with losing collective bargaining rights.

The Mississippi AFL-CIO is the state federation of labor representing more than 50,000 members of 25 or more unions throughout Mississippi. Its mission is to improve the lives of working families – to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to our state and the nation.
