Simpson To Step Down February 15
Department of Public Safety Commissioner Steve Simpson announced last week that February 15 will be his last day on the job as he enters the race for Attorney General. When he enters, Simpson will be the first- and so far only- Republican to challenge incumbent Jim Hood.
Simpson did not file a 2010 annual campaign finance report, and starts the year in a big hole money wise as Hood is sitting on more than $400,000 in the bank.
