Editorial: Final oil spill claims plan is a disappointment
WE MIGHT be Bubbas down here in the Deep South, but we know when we’ve been had.
It’s simple arithmetic. Someone gives you $20 and brags about it. Then he takes $10 away. How much did he really give you?
Here’s a hint: It’s not $20.
Somebody needs to tell Kenneth Feinberg, who’s answering to BP these days, that the final claims plan is not so great. In fact, it’s downright disappointing.
