Palazzo’s Statement on Obamacare Repeal
Rep. Steven Palazzo (MS-4) delivered the following remarks on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives today, January 19, 2011:
“Mr. Speaker: I rise today to express my strong support for the repeal of the Democrats’ health care monstrosity. It was a bill passed over the objections of most Mississippians, built on unconstitutional individual mandates and unprecedented burdens for state budgets. In short, Obamacare is poised to destroy the greatest health care system in the world.
“Don’t take my word for it, look at how some of the most ardent backers of Obamacare have been quietly working to get special waivers from the Administration so they won’t be held to the standards most small businesses now face.
