Senator Billy Hewes introduces animal cruelty bill
Senator Billy Hewes, R-Harrson and candidate for Lieutenant Governor, introduced SB #2127. This bill will make animal cruelty a felony-offense. Mississippi is one of only four states that do not have such a law. MS-FACT will hold a press conference today at 9:00 AM to promote Senator Hewes’ bill. The press release is posted below.
