Almost time for the next Legislature session
The 2011 regular session of the Mississippi Legislature convenes in January.
My top priorities remain support for our public schools and public safety/law enforcement. In this column, I want to cover a few of the public safety measures I will be working on in the upcoming session.
I will sponsor a bill to hold adults accountable for providing alcohol to children. This bill is sometimes referred to as “social host” legislation.
