Jess Lanier classmates create Nick Bell scholarship
The Nick Bell “Fight the Battle” Scholarship Dedication is today at 4 p.m. at Roosevelt Park in Bessemer off Highway 150. The instructor heading the effort said the goal is to educate others about Bell’s rare form of cancer and to promote higher education so Bell’s spirit is not forgotten. The Nick Bell “Fight the Battle” Scholarship will be presented in May 2011.
