Somebody is going to hire Dan Mullen
Mississippi State (7-2) is the perfect example of a team that knows who it is, what it can (and can not do) and executes what it can do exceedingly well. The Bulldogs, who take this week off, have three tough games remaining with Alabama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Mississippi State, which has beaten Florida on the road and Georgia at home, knows it can run the football with quarterback Chris Relf and running back Vick Ballard. It is aggressive and opportunistic on defense. Under new DC Manny Diaz, Mississippi State is second only to Florida in turnovers gained with 19 (Florida has 20). Somebody with a big job is going to throw several million dollars at Dan Mullen when this season is over, if not sooner.
