Travis Childers: North Mississippi Comes First

New ad highlights independent record, major endorsements

Booneville, MS – Childers for Congress has launched its final television advertisement for the 2010 campaign. In the ad, entitled “Never Always,” Travis Childers talks directly to the camera, describing how he has always put North Mississippi first and will continue serving as an independent voice.

The 30-second ad highlights Childers’ votes against leaders in Washington, as well as his opposition to big bailouts, wasteful budgets, and congressional pay raises. The ad also cites Childers’ major endorsements from the NRA and National Right to Life.

Travis:

I’m Travis Childers, North Mississippi comes first.

That’s why I voted against Nancy Pelosi’s agenda 267 times.

Against bailouts, wasteful budgets, and congressional pay raises every time.

And I’m endorsed by the NRA and National Right to Life.

[Text: “Endorsed by: NRA, Right to Life”]

I’m Travis Childers. Party leaders in Washington don’t like it, but I always put North Mississippi first.

[Oak carving: “North Mississippi Comes First”]

That’s why I approve this message.
