Glenn Guilbeau: Dumb and Dumber return to LSU coaching staff
The morning after Miles’ latest moronic game-management meltdown leaves just one question: Can a coach be fired after a win?
Maybe not. But if LSU did that this morning, the populace would rejoice, unless they replaced him with lieutenant loony Gary Crowton, or as Miles called him Saturday night, “the play caller.”
And some fans, LSU athletic department personnel and some media actually did not believe Miles was on the hot seat entering this season! It did not even take a loss to prove that, and it just got hotter.
Never has a coach in the history of college football been under more fire after winning a game — 16-14 over 16-point underdog Tennessee in Tiger Stadium Saturday — that kept him undefeated (5-0) than Les Miles.
