Getting to Atlanta stokes Mullen’s fire
Clearly, Mississippi State fans are hoping to break through and make a bowl game after finishing so close, with a 5-7 record, in 2009. That much is for certain.
But Mullen’s expectations?
“I don’t know if it’s more,” he said before the event. “Our expectations never change. We’re in this to find a way to win the SEC West and get to Atlanta. That’s what you can control. You can’t control anything else.
“That’s going to be our goal – (those were) our expectations for last season and really, that’s our expectation for this season and will be 10 years from now when I’m the coach here.”
