Reloading offensive backfield priority for Nutt, Rebs

Rebels coach Houston Nutt doesn’t expect Mackey to make up for lost time. Replacing Jevan Snead, who left after an unimpressive junior season only to go undrafted, will likely come down to Nathan Stanley, the current No. 1, and former Auburn commitment, Raymond Cotton.
“He’s here, and I’m glad he’s here,” Nutt told reporters shortly after Mackey enrolled. “He looks good, but if you’re asking me how much he can help us, ask me again in mid-September.”
