Vikings’ focus turns to Favre’s decision
Is the team better today than it was at the end of last season? There’s certainly room for debate.
“We lost Chester Taylor and Artis Hicks,” coach Brad Childress said. “Time will tell whether these guys will adequately step up and take care of that. But really, we’re going to be a good football team.”
Last season was a special year, no doubt, and one of the best in this organization’s recent history. Special isn’t easy to duplicate.
“That whole thing is a process,” Childress continued. “You can’t recapture that. You’d love to be able to recapture that dynamic. That’s the same every year, whether it’s with the Saints or us or whoever played in the National Football League last year.”
