Mullen likes effort in final full-pads practice before Saturday’s spring game
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State’s final full-pads practice before Saturday’s spring game ended with a longer-than-usual scrimmage period — and coach Dan Mullen’s praise.
“I was pleased with the effort today, it was a good practice,” Mullen said. The defense was the group running gassers at the end, a signal that the offense won today’s practice. And there were plenty of reasons to prove that, like Chad Bumphis‘ run on a reverse and Tyler Russell’s 18-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Green.
