Maybe Lane Kiffin’s act will play better in Hollywood than it did in Knoxville.
Time will tell. But for now, his arrival at Southern California was as awkward as his departure from Tennessee.
Kiffin left Volunteer country practically being chased by pitchfork-wielding and tomato-throwing fans. His introduction in Los Angeles also was met with hostility because USC fans don’t believe he has enough star power to fill college football’s most glamorous job.
