Bulldogs’ Mullen claims replay official botched call

Dan Mullen is likely looking at a reprimand from the Southeastern Conference for pointed comments he made Sunday about the SEC replay official who worked his Mississippi State team’s 29-19 loss to Florida the night before.
The MSU coach directed his ire at one particular play: A fourth-quarter interception return for a touchdown by Florida’s Dustin Doe. Mullen thought Bulldog receiver Brandon McRae stripped the ball from Doe before he crossed the goal line and recovered the fumble in the end zone.

Instead of State’s ball at its 20 with 8:25 to play and a nine-point deficit, Doe’s return stood after replay and gave Florida 16-point lead.
