MSU, Ole Miss picked 1-2 in SEC W. hoops
The Mississippi State and Ole Miss men’s basketball teams are picked to finish atop the Southeastern Conference Western Division in a vote of 25 media members that was released by the league today.
State is the favorite to win the West, receiving 22 of the 25 first-place votes. Ole Miss received two first-place votes; the other went to LSU. Behind State and Ole Miss in the West, the media predicts Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Auburn will finish in that order.
Kentucky was picked to win the overall SEC title, receiving 20 of 25 votes. MSU received three of the other overall votes.
