RepJohnMayo: Don’t Blame the Governor
I can’t believe I am about to write this.
If you haven’t heard by now, later today (Thursday, Sept 3), the governor will announce cuts in state agency budgets due to falling actual revenue vis a vis what the legislature appropriated based on projections at the end of the last session.
Education at all levels will probably get the biggest hit. Education was the benefactor of the most federal stimulus money, too.
