Tigers wideouts Carlos Singleton, Duke Calhoun set to receive attention
There were better receiving tandems, statistically, in Conference USA a year ago.
Rice’s James Casey and Jarret Dillard combined for 2,639 yards and 33 touchdowns. Houston’s Tyron Carrier and Mark Hafner for 2,033 yards and 20 TDs. And Aldrick Robinson and Emmanuel Sanders from SMU for 2,005 yards and 20 TDs.
By comparison, the University of Memphis’ duo of Duke Calhoun and Carlos Singleton weren’t on the radar. Calhoun and Singleton had 1,278 receiving yards and eight TDs, or fewer yards and fewer TDs than Casey and Dillard had individually.
