So far, no word from Bob Knight, and I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for one for a very long time.

We’ve talked to roughly a dozen of Knight’s friends and former players in the days since Indiana University announced that its former basketball coach will be among seven inductees into the IU Intercollegiate Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 6, and while all of them are hopeful The General shows up, none of them feels strongly that he will.
