Florida Coach Urban Meyer takes on Ron Zook
After University of Miami defensive end Adewale Ojomo underwent surgery this week for a broken jaw suffered in what Hurricanes Coach Randy Shannon described as “horsing around” in the locker room, Florida Coach Urban Meyer was asked Friday how he treats team fighting or horseplay on the field and in the locker room.
Meyer’s answer transcended team policies or judgment calls on the subject. He sounded truly disheartened by the team culture he inherited from former Gators Coach Ron Zook.
