Mayor Harvey Johnson Jr. has rehired Kenneth Taylor as deputy director of code services in the Department of Planning and Development.
Johnson announced the hire at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, eliciting applause from Ward 7 Councilwoman Margaret Barrett-Simon.
“He’s got one fan,” Johnson said.
The mayor touted Taylor’s experience and training as “the kind of credentials we haven’t had in the department in quite a while.”
