Starting today, the first-year Mississippi State football coach’s obligations as the Bulldogs’ booster-in-chief – from the estimated 3,500-plus at the Jackson Convention Complex Thursday to that frat house with a dozen brothers gathered around the dining hall table back in the spring – are over.
It’s time to start what he was hired to do last December: Coach Mississippi State, and install an exciting brand of offense in the process.
