Jackson mayoral endorsement – Horhn endorses H Johnson, R Johnson endorses Crisler

Jackson mayoral foes win support

State Sen. John Horhn announced his support for mayoral candidate Harvey Johnson, Jr. at a news conference this morning.

While former Police Chief Robert Johnson plans to announce his support for mayoral candidate Marshand Crisler at 11:30 a.m. today.

Both Horhn and Robert Johnson were among the 10 candidates who competed in last week’s Democratic primary election.

Horhn placed fourth, winning about 17.5 percent of the vote. Robert Johnson
placed fifth in the primary with about 4.1 percent of the vote.
