Many in ‘C-L’ poll uneasy about Jackson’s future

A voter poll conducted this week found that 65.9 percent of Jacksonians believe the city is headed in the wrong direction, while only 18.4 percent say the city is headed in the right direction.

Other respondents said they were unsure or declined to comment.

The findings, conducted by Southern Research Group of Jackson for The Clarion-Ledger, reflect the mood of voters leading up to the city’s Democratic primaries for mayor and City Council.

The election is Tuesday.
