Sylvia Minor: A little compassion and decency?

I don’t condone or defend Paul Minor’s actions nor do I subscribe to the notion that he is some type of political prisoner.

Paul’s father Bill Minor and I have frequently disagreed over public policy and political issues in the past — sometimes in public disagreements.

But I wouldn’t wish what’s happening to the Minor family right now on anyone.

Only those who have not confronted the reality of burying a spouse can look a this situation and feel anything other than sincere compassion for everyone involved — especially Sylvia Minor and the many people who loved her.

May God bless and keep them all.
