Backstrom in Oxford – for grand jury testimony?
Scruggs I co-defendant Sidney Backstrom is in Oxford, Lafayette County Sheriff Buddy East told the Daily Journal about 10 a.m.
“He’s been here a few days,” the sheriff said.
Why he’s in Oxford isn’t a public matter, but a federal grand jury convenes today.
