Alabama outside linebackers coach Lance Thompson will join the Vols after two years under Nick Saban in Tusculoosa. Thompson’s tenure with the Tide included landing the nation’s top-rated recruiting class in 2008, many of which contributed significantly as Alabama claimed the SEC West title. For his efforts, Rivals.com named Thompson as the national recruiter of the year.
