Stansbury remains hospitalized with viral infection
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State basketball coach Rick Stansbury has been diagnosed with a viral infection and his status for Thursday’s game at Cincinnati is unknown.
Stansbury remains in North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. On Sunday night, he went to Oktibbeha County Hospital after experiencing “severe headaches and flu-like symptoms,” according to a university news release. He went to the Tupelo hospital Monday morning to undergo further tests.
