General manager Jerry Reese is giving a Giant thanks

Thanksgivings when Jerry Reese was young were mostly spent at the home of his grandparents, Ray and Earlene Taylor, on Mooring St. in Tiptonville, the town in Tennessee where he grew up. Earlene Taylor passed away a few years ago, and Ray Taylor, who reads the “Giants Insider” his grandson sends him every week, even though he still doesn’t know an awful lot about pro football, is 88. But you ask Reese now about those Thanksgivings on Mooring St., waiting to watch football even though there were times when he was the only one in the family who really did, waiting for the food to come out of Earlene Taylor’s tiny kitchen, this is what he says:

“It puts a smile on my face right now, thinking about how good she could cook. She could really put her foot on it.”
