James Jennings filed a lawsuit against Hinds County Court Judge Houston Patton and former Hinds County District Attorney Ed Peters yesterday in federal court in Jackson. The lawsuit claimed Judge Patton illegally confined Jennings in order to force him to “coerce him to fore go a civil judgement” and that Peters engaged in a conspiracy with Patton to indict and prosecute Jennings under false pretenses.
