Forgotten man Eason keeps grip on RB job
OXFORD — When Ole Miss brought a handful of highly recruited running backs into preseason camp, it appeared that junior Cordera Eason’s perch at the top of the depth chart was in serious jeopardy.
But nine games into the season, and fresh off a career-high 104 rushing yards on only 14 carries in Saturday’s 17-7 win over Auburn, it’s Eason who has surprisingly reasserted himself as the Rebels’ top running back.
