The sound of silence on the Plains
AUBURN – It’s 11 a.m. on a Tuesday and tumbleweeds just blew through the Auburn Athletic Complex.
Almost 30 minutes have passed since football practice ended and not one player has stopped by the Rane Reception Room to speak his peace or give his thoughts on the upcoming game against Ole Miss.
That’s unusual for the weekly media day, but this has been an unusual season for the 4-4 Tigers. We’ll have to see what happens …
