The Consumer Protection Division of the Mississippi attorney general’s office reports its 88th and 89th arrests in home-repair fraud related to Hurricane Katrina.
Edward Boyd, 60, of Covington, La., was arrested Sept. 23, and James Clifford Plummer, 44, of Gulfport was arrested Thursday.
Boyd was wanted by the division for felony home-repair fraud for allegedly not making repairs to a Biloxi home, said Attorney General Jim Hood.
Plummer is accused by a Pass Christian homeowner of being paid for work that he never did, Hood said.
Bond for both Boyd and Plummer was set at $25,000 and $20,000 respectively.
