Vol offense better improve or …

KNOXVILLE — Florida will kill ’em.
Let’s cut straight to the heart of it, OK? If the Tennessee Volunteers play like this next Saturday, Florida will kill ’em.

If quarterback Jonathan Crompton throws two interceptions, Florida will kill ’em.
If tight end Luke Stocker drops three balls that hit him in the hands, Florida will kill ’em.
If Tennessee stops itself with holding calls and illegal motion penalties, Florida will kill ’em.
“We can, we must and we will play better,” said Tennessee coach Phil Fulmer.
Or — all together now — Florida will kill ’em.
And, yes, it’s probably fair to acknowledge before this column goes much further that Tennessee did actually win Saturday, defeating UAB 35-3 in spiffed-up Neyland Stadium.
