Madison has filed trespassing charges against Denbury Resources, the company
overseeing underground seismic testing.
Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler said the four charges served on the company today
in Municipal Court deal with equipment on city right of way.
In the spring, city officials denied Denbury’s request to place cables and recording devices on city property as part of its search for carbon dioxide deposits underground.
