People wanting to watch a particular vote in the Mississippi Legislature or just action in general no longer have to get in their car and drive to the state Capitol in Jackson.
Instead, they can just get on the Internet, go to www.mpbonline.org and watch the action.
The sessions of both the House and Senate are being webcast and are available to anyone with a computer and Internet access worldwide.
“I think this is direct democracy,” said Republican Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant, who first proposed webcasting the Senate after his election in November. “I can’t see us going back.”
