Ronnie Shows contributed $2,300 to Clinton’s campaign.
“Yes, I support her. I don’t always agree with her all the time,” he said. “I think she’d be better for the economy, I think she’d be better for health care. And I think she’d be better for insurance reform.”
Shows, a Democrat, is a former U.S. representative and is running for former-U.S. Sen. Trent Lott’s Senate seat.
“She’s been strong for military veterans and retirees,” Shows said.
Clinton has worked to find ways to help National Guardsmen and Reservists, Shows said, adding he also has worked with her in Congress.
“She always seemed to be agreeable,” he said.
