YP – What comes around goes around – Lecky King to Dickie Scruggs

Last year, the Scruggs Katrina Group was adamant that a State Farm employee named “Lecky” King should testify. Even though State Farm’s counsel swore up and down that she would invoke her 5th Amendment protections, SKG lawyers insisted that they be allowed to depose her. They were.

Now the shoe is on the other foot. According to court documents and exhibits both Jim Hood’s lawyers and Dickie Scruggs’ lawyers have expressed their dismay in having Dickie Scruggs be deposed in State Farm v. Hood. However, it would appear that State Farm’s lawyers, much like SKG’s lawyers once did, want the video of the 5th amendment claim like Ms. King provided.
