A Pearl attorney plans to run for Chip Pickering’s Congressional seat. Tuesday, Gregg Harper is expected to announce his plans to run for the state’s 3rd district in the US House of Representatives. Harper is a republican. The GOP primary is in March.
In August, Pickering announced he ‘s not running for re-election. He wants to spend more time with his family. Pickering has represented the state’s third congressional district since 1996. The area includes parts of Hinds, Madison and Rankin Counties
