Entergy officials today will announce plans to create a $25 million operations complex in Jackson.
The company plans to move its corporate transmission headquarters to a new building on Echelon Parkway near existing operations, creating a campus-style complex for employees, Entergy Mississippi’s President and CEO Carolyn Shanks said.
The parkway already is home to the company’s nuclear operations, as well as its storm-response command and training center.
The addition of the transmission center will create an integrated site with more than 500 employees, Shanks said.
