Republican officials are investigating why so many things went wrong with primary elections. Communication break-downs and polling place problems meant some Hinds County republicans never got to cast their votes.
“We’re going to make our investigation, see what went wrong, then decide to see what we need to do to fix it,” Jim Herring, Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party, said.
