The Delta Democrat Editorial, 6/27/7
We feel like we have given Gov. Haley Barbour every opportunity to speak to the problems of the Mississippi Delta. Yet, he continues to turn a cold shoulder to us, insisting on giving his concentration to other parts of the state.
Twice in the last four days, he has been asked specifically, by the Delta Democrat Times, what his plans for the Mississippi Delta are. In both cases, he responded by saying, “I am more concerned with Southwest Mississippi right now.”
