It appears Charlie Ross is winning the financial hearts of Golden Triangle residents more than Phil Bryant and Jamie Franks in the race for lieutenant governor.
Campaign finance reports show the Republican state senator from Brandon has a total of about $1 million for his bid to become leader of the Mississippi Senate and next in line to be governor. He’s running in the Aug. 7 party primary for the Republican nomination against Bryant. The state auditor from Brandon has about $758,000.
