When Haley Barbour says that, if re-elected, he would be receptive to increasing the tobacco tax (while cutting others) you know there’s a trap somewhere.
You can assume that last week when he talked generally about taxes and overhauling the state tax structure, he had already begun mapping his re-election campaign pitch for this fall.
