OK, we have the indictments so everyone can review.
The Hinds County Indictment is a five count indictment returned on Melton, Recio & Wright. It is definitely a prosecutorial “scorched earth” strategy.
Apparently, the DA wasn’t up much on the gun charges so Scott Johnson (Assistant AG) was brought in to deliver on the three gun indictment counts.
